- Canary Counseling Center is centrally located in Pasco County at 3030 Starkey Blvd, Suite 205, in New Port Richey, FL, 34655. The practice is located within the Longleaf Workplace.

3. What should I expect on my first session?
- During this session, I will gather the necessary background information and discuss your personalized goals for your treatment and come up with a plan together to help you reach those goals.
4. How long are sessions and how often do I need to come in?
- All individual sessions are 45-60 minutes in length.
- Most clients come in weekly for sessions although in certain situations, we may agree to meet more or less than once per week.
- For Intensive Outpatient sessions, you will come in between three to four times a week and the session lengths may be longer.
5. How much does each session cost?
- Individual sessions cost $175 per session. A limited number of negotiated fee appointments are available weekly for individuals with financial concerns. Payment is due at the time of service. Cash, check, all major credit cards are accepted for payment.
6. Do you accept insurance?
- I am paneled with United Healthcare, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and UMR. For any other insurance companies, please see below about verifying out-of-network benefits.
- Following your sessions, I can provide a receipt of services if you wish to submit with your insurance for possible reimbursement or submit at the end of the year with your taxes as a deduction.
7. How can I find out if I am eligible for out-of-network reimbursement?
- There are several questions you should ask your insurance company:
- Do I have out-of-network benefits for mental health services?
- What portion of the amount I paid will I be reimbursed?
- What is the procedure for obtaining reimbursement?
8. What is your cancellation policy?
- I understand that unexpected things may come up that prevent you from making your session. If this is the case, you have 24 hours prior to your appointment time to cancel to avoid being charged your full session fee.
