Since counseling is a very personal experience, I will spend the first few sessions gathering the relevant information and history on the symptoms and struggles that are causing you to seek therapy. Once we determine how your life is being impacted, we will create personalized goals for you to work towards in our sessions together.
I utilize the most current, evidence based techniques to help you meet your goals. While my theoretical orientation is largely rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I integrate other approaches as necessary to best meet your needs.
